In the first case, Kosovo Police, respectively Regional Directorate of Border Police   “West” Gjakova, on date 21st of September 2016 during the implementation of the Operational Plan ‘Additional Surveillance” destroyed an amount of narcotic plants planted in a forest.

During patrols of police investigators and surveillance of the terrain by the police officers they found a plantation, planted with narcotic plants suspected to be Cannabis Sativa.

This planted plantation was found deep in the forest, there were 48 planted plants with the height of 60-120 cm.

Relevant units came at the scene and after completing the procedures by the order of the prosecutor, plants were destroyed at the scene. 

In the second case, date 22 September 2016, 20:30 h, in city Gjilan, anti-drugs investigators have stopped a vehicle; where inside the vehicle have found hidden 51.2 grams of narcotics suspected to be Heroine.

In this case was arrested:

• K. I. born on 1971 m/a/k

Suspect is suspected of committing criminal act ‘buying, possession and unauthorized dealing of narcotics, psychotropic and analogue substances Article 273’.

The suspect was interviewed and by the decision of the state prosecutor the suspect is imposed a detention of 48 hours.
