Prishtinë, 19 September 2016
Kosovo
Police informs and clarifies the wide opinion and media, that today on
19.09.2016, based on the letter dated 02.09.2016, sent by the competent
authorities, respectively by the Basic Court in Prishtina to Kosovo Police,
where assistance has been required in executing the case (nr.E.nr. 81/09) in
Dardani-Prishtinë, concrete operational actions have been undertaken for
providing assistance in executing this case according to the decisions and
legal procedures.
We
inform you that based on the mandate and duty of Kosovo Police, the aim of such
operational actions was to provide safety for authorized officers of the Basic
Court in Prishtina and other officers during the procedure of execution of the
above mentioned case, keeping public peace and order, and undertaking legal
measures against anybody who violates order and safety.
At
the scene there has also been the competent judge of the case so all actions
have been undertaken in full coordination with the respective authorities.
During
the operational actions in providing assistance for execution of this case,
inhabitants did not agree to leave the flats and did not respect the
recommendations and orders of the competent officers and threw stuff such as:
water with bottles, water buckets, hard items (stones) etc. while a police
officer got injured and ten (10) persons have been taken to Police for
interviews.
Kosovo
Police managed to put the situation under control creating necessary conditions
for execution of the case by the competent bodies.

“gazetablic.com” titled ”The action Kosovo Police to remove the occupants is
