On 1 December 2015, at about 22:40
o’clock, in a Gjakova village that lies in the border zone, police officers
tasked on monitoring of border camera, in the green line have observed a person
suspected to smuggle various goods placed on bags.

The border patrols have immediately
coordinated the actions in terrain in order to prevent the smuggling and at the
same time to arrest the person and confiscate the smuggled goods.

The police officers during the
investigative actions and control conducted in the field, have found and seized
two black color bags hidden in a shrub, while the suspects is still wanted by
the Police.

Regarding the case are notified the
regional investigations, crime-technician unit from RDP-Gjakovë as well as the
unit of Anti-drugs RDP-Gjakovë, to proceed with further police procedures.

After the initial investigations, it
is alleged that the bags were filled with narcotics of marijuana type.

The completed case was handed to the
regional investigation unit of RDKP, to proceed with further investigations for
the person/s involved in this case and the amount of narcotics.

Regarding the case was also notified
the Prosecutor of Basic Prosecution in Gjakova.
