Kosovo Police in two (2) separate cases arrests three (3) suspects for ‘smuggling with migrants’, ‘documents forgery, ‘trafficking with narcotics’ and ‘unauthrised possession and weapons and ammunition’

Kosovo Police in its
intensive efforts in implementation of police plans and strategies for
combating negative phenomenon, organized crime, combating of trafficking with
narcotics and seizure of illegal weapons, has efficiently realized the
following operations:

 

Case 1.

Yesterday, on 8 September 2015 beginning at 14:00, Kosovo
Police, respectively the Department of Border Police realized a police
operation in Prishtina, where a house and a restaurant have been raided, where
two persons have been arrested under the suspicion to have been committing the
criminal offence ‘smuggling with migrants’.

 

The arrested persons in this case are:

In this case, as material evidences there have been found and seized
hundreds documents and copies, such as:

·        passports,

·        certificates,

·        forms,

·        six stamps,

·        29 bullets (cartridges)
of the caliber 7.62 ,

·        A small amount of
narcotics of the type marihuana and cocaine and material for packaging of those
narcotics,

·        A metallic rod of
police type,

·        Two iron boxing
knuckles etc.  (attached you can find photos of the case)

The arrested persons are
also suspected that with the aim of material benefit, in an organized way and
in cooperation, through illegal ways or with forged documents, forced or tried
to take Kosovo citizens to countries of European Union, so, there is the ground
suspicion that the abovementioned suspects have committed the criminal offences
‘smuggling with migrants’, ‘documents forgery’, ‘trafficking with narcotics’
and ‘unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition’.   

           
The operation of raids and arrests has been conducted with the order of the
prosecutor, respectively the Basic Court in Prishtina and the suspects have
been taken to custody.

Case 2.

In another case in the region of Gjakova on 8 September 2015, at about 06:00
in the morning, with the realization of the police operation, during the check
in the residence place in the village Damanek Municipality of Malisheva the
person has been arrested under the suspicion to have committed the criminal
offence ‘import-export, supply, transport, production, exchange, mediation or
unauthorized sell of weapons’.

The suspect arrested for this case is:

    rifle karabina, cal. 8×57 mm

    (sport) air rifle,
  • 166
    pcs. bullets diabola,
  • 3
    pcs. bullets , cal. 8×57,
  • 2
    magazine for AK-47.

 

The suspect with the order of the State Basic Prosecutor
in Gjakova, Department of Serious Crimes, ordered custody of 48 ours, while
material evidences have been seized for further proceedings.
