  Kosovo Police, with the aim of keeping public safety and increase general security in the road traffic, began patrolling with scooters.

This patrolling, which is believed to be more efficient, besides the prevention aspect, it shall be more practical for reaching within a shorter period to the place where the police intervention is required.

Kosovo Police in continuity is operating with various prevention activities, with the aim to reduce the number of traffic accidents in general, with special emphasis those with fatality.

Also, from today (08.05.2018), Road Traffic Unit of the Prishtina region, shall begin implementing the operational plan “Increased Traffic Control” – where the main focus shall be exceed speed limit, overcoming the full line, as well as other minor offences.

Police continuously calls all traffic participants, to respect road traffic rules, to adjust speed to the road conditions, to respect other traffic participants.
