Today on 17.12.2014, in early morning hours, Kosovo Police supported by other relevant police units including those of Regional Directorate in Ferizaj, in function of combating crime and negative phenomenon in society, have conducted raids into two separate locations in Ferizaj city.
After a long investigation by the competent investigators, the raid was conducted with the order of the court in the suspect’s properties:
• A. H. birth year 1974 male/Albanian/Kosovar
The investigations were made under the grounded suspicion that the same suspects have committed the criminal offences:
1. Organization of the pyramidal schemes and illegal gambling
2. Usury
3. Threat
During the raid there were seized: documents, lending contracts, authorizations of vehicles and various notebooks which will serve as additional evidences in further investigation of this matter. There were also seized material evidences relating to the criminal offence of gambling games: gambling cards, and so-called gambling stones.
There were seized two vehicles which did not possess regular documentation as well as some commercial books. The suspect was arrested and by the decision of the respective prosecutor, the detention measure of 48 hours was imposed against him.
