Kosovo Police, respectively Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics in function of implementation of the Strategies for combating the organized crime, various illegal offences and especially fulfilling its objectives in uncompromising fight against trafficking with narcotics, successfully fulfilled the police operation. The police operation has been conducted on 13.11.2014, at about 22:00 in Fushë Kosovo, where initially a transporting vehicle has been stopped which was suspected for transporting narcotics. After conducting the controlling procedures by police, in the vehicle driven by the suspect have been found and seized an amount of narcotics alleged to be marijuana, weighted 21 kg.Regarding this case the following person has been arrested:• A. C. Born in 1983; Male/Albanian/Citizen of the Republic of Kosovo;Units from the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with narcotics and forensics unit examined the scene and tested the narcotics.As material evidences there have been seized:• About 21 kg marihuana.• One vehicleBy the decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect has been imposed the police detention measure of 48 hours.
