At about 14:15 in the street “Sheh Emini” in Prizren, in front of the shopping center “Abi Plus” after a dispute between two persons, there was a fight causing injuries and it ended up using the firearm. After that the suspect escaped in an unknown direction. After receiving the information about the event, the police in Prizren conducted investigations and arrested the suspect who has been interviewed in the presence of his lawyer. During the interview the suspect told the police about the place he hid the revolver. The seized weapon is of the type revolver “Smith&Wesson” of unknown caliber with five cartridges. After the state prosecutor has been informed, the same has signed the detention measure of 48 hours for the suspect. Meanwhile there was another case at about 19:00 in the street “Carraleva”, where according to the initial information provided by the emergency, a citizen called for help, who received an injury in his left leg by a bullet, while he was walking down the street. After that, doctors took a bullet from his leg which is believed to be of the small caliber. Police in Prizren initiated the case, while there is no suspect. Directorate in Prizren Region once again calls to all citizens who possess firearms to not use them because they kill innocent people. Otherwise we are obliged to undertake all legal actions in order to bring the suspects in front of justice.
