Prishtina, 19 June 2014-The Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Human Beings, unit in Prishtina, on 18.06.2014, within the implementation of operational police plan “identification of beggars as possible victims of “trafficking with human beings’ arrested one person on the suspicion of committing criminal act of “trafficking with human beings”. During this operation plan, police officers from this unit identified one potential victim of “trafficking with human beings”, who is suspected of being used for “forced beggary”.Regarding the case, one suspected person is identified and arrested, F.B. (1989) male Albanian citizen, and by the decision of respective prosecutor he is sent in 48 hours detention to continue with further investigational proceedings.The victim of the case is sheltered at the “Safe house” for victims of trafficking.
