Pristine 17, June 2014 -On 16.6.2014 at 14:10, the Directorate of Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, Unit in Ferizaj, after an investigation period, arrested in action the suspect N.V. male Albanian kosovar, with the work position anesthesiologist at the regional hospital of Ferizaj, under the suspicion to have committed the criminal offence ‘bribery’ and ‘abuse of the official duty and authority’.Based on the preliminary police investigations, the already arrested suspect, abusing with his position asked for and received from a citizen 100 euro bribery, in order to operate his nine month son, which work he was oblige to do within his work responsibilities. After the arrest and during the search at the suspect were found money in the amount of 2×50=100 euro, which have been seized as a material evidences. All police actions regarding this case have been conducted in consultation with the respective prosecutor and against the suspect a detention measure of 48 hours has been imposed.
