Prishtinë, 26 May 2014-Today (26.05.2014) General Director of Kosovo Police, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni with its senior KP staff hosted in an official meeting Mr. Konrad Kogler, General Director for Public Safety of Austrian Police and its personnel.Welcoming them at Kosovo Police, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni thanked Mr. Kogler for the support that Austrian state, especially Austrian police have given to Kosovo Police in the field of cooperation between the two police organizations. Kosovo Police has already proved itself how much is prepared to be part of all international police mechanisms such as Interpol, Europol etc, with the aim to prevent, combat the criminality as in the region but also wider, stressing that the Kosovo is not a security consumable place but also is a producer of the security in the region and wider said Mr. Maxhuni.From his side, Mr. Konrad Kogler, General Director for Public Safety of Austrian Police, thanked Kosovo Police for the cooperation with Austrian police through the official liaison officer of Austria in Kosovo and said that this cooperation will be increased and facilitated even more after starting the work of the police liaison officer of Kosovo Police in Vienna. During the meeting which was held in the environments of the General Directorate of Kosovo Police, two heads of the Police were pledged for the ongoing mutual cooperation between the police, and as well in the joint advance in the field of prevention and combat of the organized crime and trans-border crime.
