Prishtinë 12 April 2014,The Directorate for investigation of trafficking with narcotics after six months investigation, on 11.04.2014, at about 23:00, conducted a successful police operation coded with the name “Perëndimi”, which resulted with the arrest of three (3) suspects as well as seizure of about 110 kg, narcotics suspected to be Marihuana.This police operation has been conducted in the region of Peja, exactly in the highway Klinë-Pejë, where a tuck has been stopped which has been moving, and it was suspected to be transporting narcotics. During the control, from police investigators it has been noticed that the truck has been adapted for transporting illegal narcotics, where the whole amount of hidden Marihuana (110 kg) has been seized.As a continuation of this police operation there have been raided two (2) houses with additional facilities and two vehicles suspected to have been used from the persons suspected to have been involved in this criminal activity.The arrested persons are;• M.S. born on 1981 M/K/Albanian• B.SH. born on 1975 M/K/ Albanian• GJ.XH. born on 1970 M/K/ AlbanianAs material evidences there have been seized;• 110 Kg. Marihuana• A truck• Two vehicles • A hunting gun • 645 Euro cashBy the decision of the Prosecutor, the suspects have been imposed the detention measure of 48 hours, to continue with further investigative proceedings.
