Today, on 26.2.2014, the Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Bajram Rexhepi and the General Director of Kosovo Police Mr. Shpend Maxhuni visited the border crossing point Kullë. Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Bajram Rexhepi expressed the commitment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in supporting Kosovo Police in general, especially Border Police as one of important segments of Police for providing security in our country through combating inter-border crime. While, the General Director of KP Mr. Shpend Maxhuni thanked the minister for his visit in this police station and the police staff of this border point for the work performed, encouraging that the police performance be of a high level in the future, too. Regarding the work and commitment in the Regional Directorate ‘West’ of Border Police, lieutenant Colonel Azem Mala informed the Minister and the Director about the work performed in the RDP ‘West’, where the border crossing point Kullë belongs, reporting the achievements and cooperation with the border police of neighbor countries, such as: Montenegro and the Republic of Albania. “All border crossing points that are equipped with professional police staff and equipments that enable performing border police procedures, such as: control of documents, identification of forged documents and cooperation between border agencies but also with police organizations of neighbor countries in a high level. In this meeting there participated also the representatives of other border agencies, such as: Kosovo Customs, Food and Veterinary Agency. During this visit minister Rexhepi and the KP Director Mr. Maxhuni have closely seen the work of police officers in this border crossing point.
