In the ongoing work in combating the criminal offences organized crime, Kosovo Police, specifically the Directorate of Investigation of Organized Crime, on 20, 21 and 22 January 2014, after a several months investigation, conducted three separate police operations in the regions: Pristina, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Prizren, where four suspects were arrested, with the suspicion that they had consistently committed offenses ‘smuggling of weapons’ and ‘smuggling with migrant- organized crime’, illegally benefiting financial means.
In three police operations there have been arrested:

1. A. R. born on 1981 kosovar/Albanian
2. Y. G. born on 1982 kosovar/ Albanian
3. F. K. born on 1965 kosovar/ Albanian
4. B. H. born on 1985 kosovar/ AlbanianDuring those operations, as material evidences there have been seized:

• 3 revolvers of different calibers
• 814 cartridges,
• 9 rounds,
• TNT (explosive-864 grams)
• 6 cell phones and
• Various documents that were used to commit the crime smuggling with migrant.
It is worth mentioning that the case of smuggling with migrants was investigated jointly with the Croatian police. The operation was conducted simultaneously in Zagreb, where a citizen of Kosovo was arrested, who has acted in collaboration with the suspects arrested in Kosovo.
