Prishtinë, 19 January 2014,

Kosovo Police, respectively Police Station in Gjakova, supported by other relevant police units, with the order of the Basic Court in Gjakova have conducted a successful operation coded “Cunami” where (15) business facilities were controlled and were arrested (20) persons suspected for various criminal acts..

During the implementation of the police plan as material evidence were found and seized:

5 (five) illegal weapons (two hunting rifles and 3 guns,

1 (one) electroshock

28 (twenty eight) ammunition of various calibers

2 (two) knives

1 (one) iron boxing (assaulting)

1 (one) gun holster

Within the (20) arrested persons, 5 of them are for unauthorized possession and control of weapons, while two (2) others for “Unconscious economic activity and disturbance of public peace and order.
Within this operational plan according to police authorizations and lists of wanted persons, there were arrested (13) persons wanted by the Basic Court in Gjakova.

The entire police operation was supervised intensively by the Operation commander and tactical commander in the field and everything has gone according to the operational plan.
