Kosovo Police supported by OSCE mission in Kosovo and Government of Switzerland/the Embassy of the Republic of Switzerland in Kosovo, as well as in close cooperation with the Office of Commissioner for Language within the Prime Minister’s Office, developed and prepared for its officers a smartphone application called “VOICE App” in three languages: Albanian, Serbian and English as well as its manual coming in two languages, these tools will facilitate the communication with citizens whenever necessary as well as enabling Kosovo Police strengthen further the cooperation with citizens.

The aim of launching this application is facilitation of daily contacts between citizens and Kosovo Police officers, which at the same time indicates the ongoing commitments of Kosovo Police in respecting and complying with human rights as well as the fulfillment of Kosovo Police vision, the vision of senior management in creating a safe environment as well as enforcing applicable law for the citizens they serve.

The communication is a fundamental in establishing strong bounds with the community and strengthening the mutual trust and partnership with citizens.
