Kosovo Police (KP) informs the public that regarding the publishing/comment of a police officer of the Drenica region through the social network Facebook, on (18.05.2020) immediate measures have been undertaken where the police officer has been suspended and the case is being further proceeded.

The police officer must act in accordance with the legislation into power, the code of ethics and rules of conduct and performance of police duties. For Kosovo Police any action of any police officer that is in contrary to the guiding and leading principles of Police, of institutional and personal integrity, ethic values and of the organization, honesty and responsibility of the service towards the public, is unacceptable.

Kosovo Police for years has built its image in great cooperation with all citizens.

The performance of police tasks and responsibilities against the country and citizens, including the cooperation and partnership with community, remains primary for Kosovo Police and for any case where there is a violation of procedures and police rules, necessary measures will be undertaken.
