Prishtinë, 11th of April 2019

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption after the investigation actions 11.04.2019, arrested the suspect male/Albanian/Kosovar initials (A.P) and female suspect/Albanian/Kosovar with the initials (A.S.), in Fushë Kosova municipality and the suspect male/Albanian/Kosovar with the initials (M.V.) owner of a company.

The suspects (A.P.) and (A.S.) in the capacity of the official persons acting contrary to their official authorizations have issued construction permits for the investor (1), for construction of the living and trade building in the St. ”Nënë Tereza”– Fushë Kosova as well as the construction permits for other investor (2), by violating procedures foreseen by the Law on construction and contrary to the administrative Instructions.

In this case, the company (1), the action of suspects caused damage for the rezidents of the existing facilities by not respecting the construction distance.
The suspect (M.V.) in the capacity of the owner of the company (1), and the constructor of the object in the street Nënë Tereza in Fushë Kosova even though being equipped with the construction permit by the suspects in contrary to the law on construction and administrative instructions, the latter did not respect this construction permit by exceeding the permit while constructing the facility as well as as well as not respecting the orders of the construction inspectorate for termination of the illegal constructions.

The suspects with the initials (A.P.) and (A.S.) it is suspected that by their actions they have committed the criminal act “Abuse of office and official authority” stipulated in the article 422, while the suspect (M.V.) is suspected of committing the criminal act “illegal construction works” from the article 368, of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

After the statements of suspects, with the decision of the competent prosecutor, suspects are taken in custody for 48 hours for further procedures.
