On 28.03.2019 at 11:00, in the Border Crossing Point in Vërmicë, while conducting official duties of police officers and officers of Kosovo Customs, a vehicle with plates of the Republic of Albania has been controlled in the ‘second line’.

    While conducting the detailed control of the vehicle there has been noticed that it has a double floor. After opening the space there has been noticed that there have been hidden narcotics suspected to be marihuana.

About the case there has been informed the anti-drugs unit in Prizren, who seized sixteen packages covered, in the general weight: 16 kg e 954 gr.

Regarding the case two male suspects have been arrested, citizen of the Republic of Albania. While as material evidences there has been seized a vehicle and two mobile phones.

By the decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect have been taken to 48 hours custody.
