Kosovo Police received a request from KBF as well as from the basketball club of Rahovec, to secure the basketball game on (01.03.2019) in Rahovec. Police prepared the operational plan and undertook the necessary measures for the process of the sport game within “Euroing Kupa e Kosovës – Final 8”.

             During the game there occurred an incident between the fans at the stands and the police intervened and arrested seven (7) suspects. During the intervention, two police officers were injured.

The arrested persons were interviewed and by the decision of the prosecutor they were taken to 48 hours custody.
Kosovo Police calls all sports lovers, fans at the sports halls, to have good behavior, otherwise in cases of hooliganism and other unlawful acts, police will intervene and in cooperation with the justice bodies, as in this case, there will be undertaken adequate legal measures against all those who cause such ugly scenes
