The General Director of Kosovo Police (KP) Mr. Rashit Qalaj, accompanied by senior officers of KP, is participating in ‘The European Police Congress’ being held in Berlin-Germany, beginning from today and which will last up to 20 February 2019.
The participation in this Congress, besides others shall be used to increase the cooperation of Kosovo Police with European police organizations in general and particularly with the police structures of Germany.
Besides the bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the visit aims to exchange and increase experiences in prevention and combating risks and threats in the security field, including terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, illegal migration etc.
During this visit there shall be aimed the opportunity of using and advancing technology of needs of institutions in the law-enforcement.
Participation in this congress is expected to result in the exchange of best experiences, where all participating countries, especially KP during the participation, shall be maximally committed to increase the cooperation and coordination with all participating countries.
