Today on 13.09.2018 in the General Directorate of Kosovo Police, the American ambassador Mr. Greg Delawie, along with the senior officers of ICITAP, met the General Director of KP Mr. Rashit Qalaj, who was accompanied by his collaborators.

The Director Mr. Qalaj as a sign of appreciation for the mutual cooperation thanked the Ambassador Delawie for his visit and at the same time informed him about the commitments of KP and the goals towards fulfillment of its legal duties and obligations in the interests of security and order in the Republic of Kosovo.

During the meeting, among others, the Director Qalaj emphasized that Kosovo Police is well prepared and engaged in providing security in the country and in the fight against organized crime, and at the same time emphasized that Kosovo Police will continue to increase its professionalism and integrity.

On this occasion, Ambassador Delawie congratulated Director Qalaj for his appointment as the General Director of KP, wishing him success in his work and at the same time Mr. Delawie confirmed the further support of the US Embassy for Kosovo Police in various fields and in particular in strengthening the rule of law in Kosovo.
