The General Director of Kosovo Police (KP) Mr. Rashit QALAJ, accompanied by his senior staff hosted in an official meeting the general of KFOR Mr. Salvatore CUOCI.

The director QALAJ as a sign of gratitude for the mutual cooperation thanked the general Salvatore CUOCI for his visit, and at the same time informed for him for the engagements of KP and the aims to fulfil its legal duties and obligations for the good of safety and order in the Republic of Kosovo.

Kosovo Police has professional capacities and is prepared to provide safety, combat organized crime, trans-border crime as well as the close cooperation with all relevant national and international institutions, as a result of the need of engagement, cooperation and involving of Kosovo Police in international mechanisms.

It was emphasized that Kosovo police has good cooperation with authorities of KFOR, cooperation which has shown positive results in various fields, including successes and joint patrols, mainly in the border line.

During the meeting he pledged for mutual cooperation in the future, including the exchange of experiences and field trainings, with the aim to advance further the both institutions which have joint aims for the safety of the country and citizens.
